These events are for students only and are highly encouraged, but not required. If you are able, we strongly recommend attending as many as possible to help you feel prepared and connected before the school year begins.

Day in the Life of a SOTA Student

• Tour all buildings and SOTA hotspots
• Participate in scheduling (pre-registration)
• Meet your peers
• Engage in breakout sessions

Visual Arts Experience
Saturday, May 9 | 9:00–12:00 | 1950 Building (1950 & Pacific)

• Participate in art rotations exploring photography, drawing, graphic design, and film

Community & Connections Day
Wednesday, June 24 | 9:00–12:00 | Ted Brown (1117 Broadway)

• Learn about mentor groups, clubs, and museum partnerships
• Hear from a student panel

Camp SOTA & Mini Showcase
Tuesday, August 18 | 9:00–12:00 | Ted Brown (1117 Broadway)

• Experience performing arts rotations including dance, singing, theater, costume design, songwriting, orchestra, and music theory
